As part of its expansion strategy in the digital infrastructure sector, PT Gihon Telekomunikasi Indonesia (GTI) officially acquired PT Global Patra Sinertama (GPS) in 2023. This acquisition strengthens GTI’s position in the development and management of fiber optic networks, supporting the company’s vision to become a leading provider of connectivity infrastructure services in Indonesia.

Global Patra Sinertama has an established track record in fiber optic services, including backbone network installation, fiber optic infrastructure management, and the provision of connectivity solutions across various industrial sectors. Through this integration, GTI is committed to accelerating the development of fiber optic networks, particularly to support telecommunications, industrial estates, data centers, and smart city initiatives.

In addition to the acquisition, PT Gihon Nusantara 7 (GN7) now holds a 10% equity stake in Global Patra Sinertama, further strengthening the synergy in building Indonesia’s digital infrastructure ecosystem.
